The best time to do Maluku Ternate Tour is in the dry season. It is important to avoid the bad weather conditions which might happens sometimes. But the weather is not always the same every year. In reality, it can be a very good weather in the rainy season.

Day 1: Flight from Bali to Ambon with a transit in Surabaya

Pick up at your hotel in Bali and transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport. Departure to Surabaya 1.5 hours. Let’s take the other flight to Ambon (10:55 hours). After arriving in Ambon we meet our guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner in a nearby restaurant. After arriving at Pattimura Airport in Ambon, we will meet our guide and then transfer to the booked hotel.

Day 2: Crossing the sea to Seram Island

Pick up at the hotel after breakfast and transfer approximately 1 hour to the port, where we board the speedboat. Transfer by speedboat to Seram Island. After arriving in Seram, we will be picked up by a comfortable vehicle and taken to the nearby restaurant where we will have lunch. Continue to Seleman village and check in at the Seleman Bella Rizki resort. In the afternoon we visit a nearby village. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 3: Keramba Cinta – Tebing Batu – Goa Laut (Cave by the Sea) – Ora Beach – Air Belanda Beach

Our day begins with sunrise at the resort, at the same time we have breakfast. After breakfast departure by boat to Keramba Cinta, Tebing Batu cliff, a sea cave, Ora beach and Air Belanda beach. Lunch will be prepared in a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon we enjoy the sunset at Ora Beach. Then return to the resort. Dinner will be prepared at the resort.

Day 4: Crossing the sea back to Ambon

Check out of the hotel after breakfast. Then departure by car to Amahai Port. From there, the crossing takes about 45 minutes to Masohi. Lunch at a restaurant in Masohi. Then transfer to Tulehu by speedboat. After arriving in Tulehu, we will be picked up by a comfortable vehicle and depart for the booked hotel in Ambon. We pass Natsepa Beach, then continue to Ambon Bay where we enjoy dinner before driving directly to the booked hotel.

Day 5: Jazira Mietitu – Bukit Allang – Huluwa Beach – Eel watching in Larike – Pulau Tiga Island – Diving (1 x dive)

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and departure to Jazira Mietitu, the region of Kings. The place is on the west coast of the island of Ambon. Let’s stop briefly in Bukit Allang. From there we enjoy the beautiful panorama of Cinta Bay and Allang village. Continue to Huluwa Beach. The surf at Huluwa is similar to Tanah Lot-Bali. But so far it is still original. Continue to Larike. There we see the large eels that live in the freshwater river. Continue to Batu Layar beach to take photos. Then transfer by boat to the island of Pulau Tiga about 15 minutes. Check-in to Nusa Ela Resort. After lunch at the hotel, we meet the dive guide. We do 1 dive that day. This comes from the resort. After diving we enjoy the beautiful sunset on the island. Dinner at Nusa Ela Resort.

Day 6: 1 x dive - crossing to Ambon - Pattimura Park - sunset

Today we start the day with the sunrise at the resort. After breakfast we go out to sea by boat to go diving. 1 x dive/person. Check out from the hotel and transfer to Ureng village. We will be picked up there by a comfortable vehicle and set off towards Ambon city. We pass the Amsterdam fortress, the old church and mosque from the 18th century. Lunch in a restaurant with a beautiful view of the city of Ambon. Then check into the booked hotel in Ambon. We leave our suitcase at the hotel and then go on a city tour of Ambon. We visit the World Peace Gong, Freedom Square and Pattimura Park. We also have the opportunity to go shopping. Afterwards we drive to Ambon Bay. There we have dinner and at the same time we enjoy a spectacular sunset. In the late afternoon return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 7: Departure for Ternate - Spice Island Tour (Lunch)

Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel after freshening up. Start to Ternate Sultan Palace (Kraton). No access from outside due to revitalization project, Fort Oranje. Then we go to the market for nutmeg and cloves. Continue through Cengkeh Afo village to see the oldest clove (200 years old) and then have lunch at the local resto. After lunch, visit the Alfred Russel Wallace House where he wrote the “Letter from Ternate” and then visit the Tolucco Fort. Mount Gamalama can be observed at Batu Angus Ecopark. The land tour to Ternate Island (around Gamalama Mountain) lasts about an hour but includes a photo stop at Lake Tolire. And visit Castella Fortress, the largest Portuguese fortress in North Maluku. Visit the top of Ngade Lagoon and then the Portuguese fortress of Kalamata. Back to the hotel

Day 8: Halmahera Land Tour and Diving at Jailolo Beach (Lunch)

Transfer to Dufa-Dufa port. 07:00 WIT. Departure to Jailolo by regular speedboat. After arriving Jailolo, have breakfast at local restaurant then drive to Gamtala village. We start our journey with mangrove boat tours to explore the beauty of the mangroves and have a stop at the refuge surrounding the mangrove forest and the Portuguese fort. As we meet with the locals, we enjoy time with young coconuts and some of the birds that you can see on this boat ride. Afterwards, you will drive to the traditional house of the Sahu tribe. After lunch, diving in Jailolo Bay. Back to the port to take your speedboat back to Ternate. Dinner. Transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Hike to Mount Gamalama and visit Tidore and Maitara Island (lunch)

After breakfast, departure to Mount Gamalama. It must be half a day before lunch. After lunch we visit the island of Tidore. After arriving in Tidore we visit the Tahulla Fortress, the Palace of the Sultan of Tidore, the Tore Fort, the Museum and the Spanish Heritage. Then back to the harbor and by speedboat. Visit Maitara Island. After arriving at the port of Ternate, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
