Day 1: Arrival – Borobudur – Yogyakarta (L)

Upon arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your German- or English-speaking guide. You will then proceed to the world-famous Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist monument in the world (UNESCO World Heritage Site). After the visit, continue to Yogyakarta and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Yogyakarta City Tour – Prambanan (B/L)

At around 9:00 AM, your city tour of Yogyakarta begins. You will visit the Sultan’s Palace (Kraton), the historic Taman Sari Water Castle, and traditional batik workshops. In the afternoon, you will explore the impressive Prambanan Hindu temple complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Day 3: Yogyakarta – Malang (B/ L)

After breakfast, travel to Malang. Along the way, visit a traditional market to experience local life up close, followed by a stop at the scenic Coban Rondo Waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery.

Day 4: Malang – Bromo Region (B/L)

Today you may choose between two attractive options:

Option A – Waterfall Adventure

After approximately 2.5 hours of driving, visit the spectacular Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls and the Kapas Biru Waterfall—two of the most beautiful waterfalls on Java. Afterwards, continue to your hotel in the Bromo region.

Option B – Culture & Nature in Malang

City tour of Malang with visits to the flower and bird market, a Chinese temple, the colorful Kampung Warna-Warni village, and a walk along Ijen Boulevard. In the afternoon, visit the Wonosari tea plantations or the impressive Madakaripura Waterfall before reaching your hotel.

Day 5: Bromo – Banyuwangi (B/L)

In the early morning around 2:30 AM, depart by jeep to the Penanjakan viewpoint to witness the legendary sunrise over Mount Bromo. This is followed by a short hike (approx. 2 km) to the Bromo crater. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then continue your journey to Banyuwangi.

Day 6: Banyuwangi – Ketapang – Bali (B)

Today you again have two options:

Option A – Kawah Ijen Volcano Trek

Early in the morning, depart for Paltuding, the starting point for the approximately 3 km hike to Kawah Ijen (2,386 m). Admire the famous turquoise-colored crater lake. Afterwards, transfer to Ketapang ferry harbor and cross over to Bali.

Option B – Plantations & Coast

Enjoy a leisurely drive toward Ketapang with a visit to the Krikilan plantations, where you will learn about coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spice plants. Continue to the fishing harbor of Pelabuhan Muncar before taking the ferry to Bali.

Overnight: Nusa Dua-Bali

Day 7: Flight to Labuan Bajo, West Flores – Rangko Cave (B/L/-)

Picked up from your hotel in Bali, then transfer to the airport for one hour flight to Labuan Bajo. Arrival in Labuan Bajo and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Rangko Cave by wooden boat and a short forest walk. Swim in the crystal-clear cave pool. Then, visit Batu Cermin Cave which is famous for its stalactite and stalagmite.

Day 8: Kelor, Manjarite, Pempeng & Kalong Island (B/L/D)

Begin your Komodo adventure with island hopping through the scenic waters of Komodo National Park. Visit Kelor Island for a short hike to a panoramic viewpoint and time to swim or relax on the beach, then continue to Manjarite and Pempeng Islands for easy snorkeling in clear, calm waters rich with coral and tropical fish. In the late afternoon, cruise to Kalong Island to witness a spectacular sunset as thousands of flying foxes emerge from the mangroves, before spending the night on board.

Day 9: Rinca, Pink Beach & Komodo Island (B/L/D)

Today focuses on Komodo’s most iconic wildlife and landscapes. Start with an early visit to Rinca Island for a guided walk with a local ranger to see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Continue to the famous Pink Beach to swim, snorkel, or relax on its uniquely colored sand, then visit Komodo Island for another guided trek offering further chances to observe dragons and other wildlife. Overnight on the boat in the heart of the national park.

Day 10: Taka Makassar, Manta Point, Siaba Bay & Kanawa Island (B/L/D)

On your final day, explore some of the park’s most beautiful marine sites. Walk along the pristine sandbank of Taka Makassar surrounded by turquoise water, then snorkel at Manta Point where manta rays are often seen gliding gracefully below. Continue to Siaba Bay, known for its turtles and vibrant coral reefs, before finishing at Kanawa Island for relaxed snorkeling and swimming in crystal-clear waters, followed by a return to Labuan Bajo.

Day 11: Labuan Bajo – Cunca Wulang Waterfall – Denge – Waerebo (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive inland to Cunca Wulang Waterfall. Walk through rainforest and shallow rivers to reach the waterfall, where you can swim in natural pools. Continue driving to Denge Village, the starting point of the Waerebo trek. After lunch, begin a ±2.5-hour trek through rainforest and hills to Waerebo Village. Upon arrival, take part in the traditional welcoming ceremony at the main house (Mbaru Niang). Learn about the unique architecture and ancestral traditions of the Manggarai people. Dinner and overnight in a traditional house.

Day 12: Waerebo – Golo Cara Spider Web Rice Fields – Ruteng (B/L/D)

Early morning to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Waerebo. After breakfast, trek downhill back to Denge, then continue by car to Ruteng. Stop at Golo Cara (Lingko Cara) to see the famous spider-web rice fields. Arrive in Ruteng and check in at your hotel.

Day 13: Ruteng – Ranamese Lake – Borong – Bajawa (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive east through scenic mountain roads. Stop at Ranamese Lake, surrounded by dense forest and cool mountain air. Lunch in Borong Town, then continue to Bajawa. Check in at your hotel.

Day 14: Bena Traditional Village – Soa Hot Spring – Riung (B/L/D)

Morning visit to Bena Traditional Village, an ancient Ngada village with impressive megalithic structures. Continue to Soa Hot Spring for a relaxing soak in natural thermal pools. Proceed north to Riung and check in at the lodge.

Day 15: Riung 17 Islands Marine Park (B/L/D)

Boat excursion to Riung 17 Islands Marine Park. Visit mangrove forests inhabited by fruit bats, followed by snorkeling around pristine coral reefs. Enjoy a beach BBQ lunch and free time on the islands. Return to Riung in the afternoon.

Day 16: Riung – Ende – Moni (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive through central Flores toward Moni Village. Enjoy scenic landscapes and rural villages along the way. Arrive in Moni in the afternoon and rest in preparation for the early morning visit.

Day 17: Kelimutu Crater Lakes – Koka Beach – Maumere (B/L/D)

Early morning departure (around 03:30 AM) to Mount Kelimutu. Walk up to the viewpoint to witness sunrise over the three-colored crater lakes. After breakfast, continue east with a stop at the beautiful Koka Beach. Arrive in Maumere, visit local areas if time permits, and check in at your hotel.

Day 18: Snorkeling tour to Pangabatang Island (B/L/D)

The Pangabatang snorkeling tour begins with a 1.5-hour drive to Nangahale Pier, followed by a 1.5-hour boat trip to Pangabatang Island. Enjoy snorkeling among beautiful coral reefs and diverse marine life, including sea turtles, groupers, tuna, and barracuda. Afterward, relax on the white sand beach and enjoy the island scenery. In the afternoon, return to Nangahale Pier and drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
