Lahangan Sweet

The trip starts at 06:00 am from your hotel. Picked up by our assigned driver/ guide, then set out to the east about 3 hours along the scenic south coast of the Island. The first highlight is Lahangan sweet. This place is one of the most breathtaking sites of Bali. It is is located in Abang district, Karangasem regency and situated at a hilltop next to Lempuyang mount. Sunrise at Lahangan Sweet cannot be compared to other places in Bali, because it presents the breathtaking view of mount Agung, the highest peak of Bali. The best moment for the best shot is at sunrise time, but if it’s clear without rain and cloud the view is still amazing anytime during the day. To reach the viewpoint of Lahangan Sweet, a jeep will take visitors about 10 minutes on a bumpy road with no asphalt concrete.

Heaven's Gate Lempuyang

Just 10 minutes away by car from Lahangan Sweet, you will arrive at Heaven’s Gate of Lempuyang. This temple gate is phenomenal through its breathtaking view with backdrop of mount Agung. Hundreds of visitors every day come to the place. Patiently, everybody waits for his/ her schedule, where he/she has the opportunity to make instagrammable pictures. After the photo poses, a shutle bus takes the visitor back to the parking lot, then, the trip continues to Tirta Gangga water palace.

Tirta Gangga Water Palace

From Heaven’s Gate of Lempuyang, it takes about 30 minutes by car to Tirta Gangga. Tirta Gangga is a a wonderful water palace, dedicated to the last king of Karangasem. It has some beautiful pools with fresh clear water. It is allowed to swim or soak in the pools. The other pools are dominated by Koi fishes. To feed them, we can buy fish flakes at the shops nearby.

Taman Ujung Water Palace

The last highlight of the day is Taman Ujung. This amazing water palace is situated near the beach at the south coast of Karangasem. It takes about 30 minutes away to the south from Tirtagangga. Unlike Tirtagangga, Taman Ujung doesn’t have a special pool for swimming. The water of each pool is not clear, because dominated by fishes. Even though, the place is worth a visit. So amazing with scenic views. From Taman Ujung, the journey takes you back to the hotel.
