Rinca Komodo Dragon Tour 3 Days

Picked up from your hotel in Bali, then transfer to Ngurah Rai airport for the 1hour flight to L.Bajo-Flores. Picked up from the airport in Labuan Bajo upon arrival, and then transfer by air-conditioned car to the pier of Labuan Bajo approximately 10 minutes. Then, your Komodo journey with a local boat starts from there. Kelor will be the first spot of the day. Enjoy snorkeling at this place and experience the stunning landscape of coral reefs and a diversity of marine wildlife. Next the boat takes you to Manjarite for another underwater experience. Manjarite offers also fascinating coral reefs and colorful coral fishes. Continue to Rinca, the second largest Island in Komodo National Park.  Upon arrival, visit the ranger station for registration. Meet your assigned ranger who will be a guide for your trekking. Follow him to go hiking through the savanna and forest to discover the Komodo dragons. After that cross the sea to Kalong Island, a tiny mangrove Island that is inhabited by thousands of fruit bats. Before the nightfall, the fruit bats leave the Mangrove Island for Flores mainland, where they search for fruits. Back to the pier of Rinca. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

The tour starts in the very early morning. Crossing the sea to visit Padar Island. Padar is one of the largest Islands in Komodo and one of the most recommended places to visit in Komodo National Park. This Island offers amazing landscape over the pink and white sand beaches and the rugged hills that are covered mostly by savanna. You will hike up the hill approximately 30 minutes to reach the best viewpoint. After that snorkeling at the pink beach. Lunch will be served on the boat. In the afternoon cross the sea to Komodo Island, the largest Island in Komodo National Park. Upon arrival in Komodo, get registered at the ranger station. Before trekking, please pay attention to a short briefing by the ranger about trekking guidelines and also Do’s and Don’ts. Then, follow your assigned ranger to go for trekking in the dry forest where you might encounter the giant lizards of Komodo dragon. Continue to the next pink beach for snorkeling, then head to Siaba Island. On the way to Siaba you can stop at Manta point for snorkeling. If you are lucky, there will be a lot of Mantas to see there. Overnight and dinner on the boat at Siaba Island.

In the morning the boat leaves for Pink Beach. Breakfast will be served while crossing the sea to the place. The water of Pink Beach is often calm in the morning between 06:00 am – 11:00 am, no high wave. It is the good time to go swimming and snorkeling. After breakfast, prepare yourself for snorkeling, swimming or sunbathing at pink beach. Take your snorkeling equipment, then jump out into the water. Feel the freshness of the clear water during snorkeling and enjoy the stunning landscape of coral reefs and the activity of submarine wildlife. Next, continue to Kanawa, a beautiful tiny Island that is located near Labuan Bajo. You can go for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing at the beach of Kanawa. You may also walk around and enjoy the beautiful panorama at the last hours of your Komodo Journey in Flores. Then, crossing the sea to Labuan Bajo harbor. Then, transfer to Komodo airport. Check in and depart for the next destination.
